Magda left her home town to marry Greg and start the “perfect” life. Trouble is things are not so perfect. Sophia has a daughter whose father left once she was pregnant, the man of her dreams was not to be. She had a childhood friend who did the dirty on her and left her when she needed her most. Their paths cross at a school reunion and what happened in the past comes to light. I liked the characters of both Sophia and Magda. They and others came to life as I progressed through the book. Although a lighthearted read this is one of those books that makes you think about your own past and whether things could have been different ~”if”..... A well written enjoyable book.
