Do No Harm- Lucy V. Hay- 5**
OMG. One you won’t want to put down. Lily is about to marry Sebastian.
They both work at a school. He being the headmaster and she being one of the
teachers. Lily has been married before and has a son, Denny.  Her ex ,Maxwell,
is an oncology surgeon and has a bit of a reputation with Lily for interfering and
being possessive - to put it mildly. Sebastian’s mother, although old fashioned in
her outlook does her best to integrate Lily and Denny into the family and helps
out in various circumstances. Sebastian is everything Maxwell isn’t and wasn’t
to Lily- kind, thoughtful, helpful etcetc. When things start happening, there is
only one person who could be responsible. This is a wonderful psychological
thriller, the sort that Lucy does best. You think know where it is going ( as in
who the perpetrator is) but do you? At the same time you get a chill from
what is happening to a seemingly innocent family. I love that the title refers
to the Hippocratic oath. This is one of my special 5** reads- awarded to around
10% of what I read each year (around 220 books in all). To achieve this they
have to be memorable, keep me gripped and most of all have a brilliant ending.
This one has earned it in spades. I very much look forward to the next book
from Lucy.
