1. The Reach of Shadows- Tony J Forder- Crime DI Bliss (who I love) at his best. A cleverley thought out plot and a brilliant, brilliant read which I highly recommend.

2. Did I mention I won the Lottery- Julia Butterfield-Contemporary Fiction
A good plot, a story to keep me engaged, an ending that fits and that something extra
that makes the book memorable.



3. My Mother the Psychopath- Olivia Rayne Biography /Crime/ abuse A brave book, an interesting read. One many peopleshould read to
know about others. Not every mother is loving. A brave woman.

4. Jog On- Bella Mackie- Running/divorce/athletics- For anyone who thinks they have a little more than “ a little of the blues”
and for any runner this is a very interesting read.

5. DearDaughter of a Narcissitic Mother- Danu Morrigan-Self Help
The book that changed my life. I can't say enough about this,.I truly wish I had read
this many many years ago. Inspirational

6. Deaths Dark Veil (now retitled The Secrets of Tenley House)- Patrica Dixon-Psychological Thriller

 Deceptively dark with a creeping sense of menace, this is the tale of two young women drawn together by circumstance and heartbreak. One stunning read.

9. The Murder Mile Lesley McEvoy-crime/police psychological/procedural
One of the most interesting reads I have had for a long time.A truly stunning read.

10. Rosie & Ruby- Patricia Dixon-Women's Fiction
(previously published as Three Mothers)  A book with a message.Most of all- a book of hope.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. One of the most beautiful stories

One real treasure of a read. I loved this and shall remember

13. Five Steps to Happy- Ella Dove-Literary Fiction A brave, wonderful, uplifting read. One life- live it

14. The Woman at Number 19- J.A Baker-Psychological thriller.My emotions rolled from highs to
lows with this. Stunning doesn’t do it justice.

15. The Escape- Magan Goldin-
Psychological Thriller- couldn’t help but keep turning the pages, the tension was brilliantly written
and characters that you either like or loathed. Oh what a clever plot- love it! It didn't dawn on

16. The Girl He Used to Know- T. Garvis-Graves-Humerous fiction
“Women are like tea bags- you don’t know how strong they are until they are in hot
water” (Eleanor Roosevelt).Oh my. I had a lump in my throat and on the edge of tears.

A wonderful plot, brilliant characters  and a little humour and romance make this a

18. The Suicide Pact- David M Lyons-Psycholigcal thriller
Oh! Be still my beating heart- the ending. Boy- I didn’t see that coming. A stunningly clever, very
well thought out plot, wonderful characters and a book to remember for a long
19. Cilka's Journey- Historical Fiction I can't recommend this highly enough.
One to stay with me for ever. A moving, thought
provoking story of  a woman against all odds.

20. The Other Daughter- Shalini Boland-psychological thriller-A brilliant plot line that keeps you on the edge of your seat
This one however was slightly different- there was that moment when I read a couple of
sentences and sat there with my mouth wide open (thank heavens I wasn’t in a public
place!) I won’t spoil anything but OMG!!! How clever- wow! Wow, wow wow!

21. Destiny- Patricia Dixon- Womens fiction

A wonderful,  beautiful story. This book has taken me through several emotions and left

me with a light and hope. A truly moving read.

22. The Lies We Hide- S.E Lynes
  Literary Fiction/thriller-Not what I was expecting at all - in a good way if that makes sense.
Well researched and written from the heart. An extraordinary  book- this has
