SECONDS TO DIE (Detective Claudia Nunn #2)  by Rebecca Bradley- crime-

Detective Inspector Claudia Nunn is running a new team- Complex crimes. One

as the name suggests to sort out the more unusual ones.  Not long ago her team

caught a serial killer that was thought to also have killed her step mother due

to the similar MO and details that were not released- something the killer

denies. She receives a picture anonymously in the post and thinks little of it

until a crime is reported that is the exact same scene- down to every detail.

When more pictures arrive Claudia and her team, which includes her Sergeant

Father Dom, do their best to try and find out more before the next person is

killed. Dom has his own issues aside from work which he doesn't want to

involve Claudia with. Can the team save potential victims before it’s too late?

This is the second in the series and works well alone ( I hadn’t read the first)

as enough back detail is given to put things straight without detracting from

the story line. I quickly took to Claudia and her tenacious determination in a

rather chilling crime. There is another thread running through which I won’t

spoil other than to say it's personal for Claudia and an interesting one. I very

much look forward to the next in the series.

SECONDS TO DIE (Detective Claudia Nunn #2) A DARK, TWISTY AND UTTERLY COMPULSIVE PAGE-TURNER. He’d do an installation that would get people talking. Something no one had ever done before. Something real. DI Claudia Nunn has never seen anything as beautiful — or as horrifying. The sketch sent directly to her at work depicts a man, naked on a bed. His arms are bound, his face contorted in agony, a huge blade stuck deep in his back. Gory? Certainly. Something to worry about? Not likely. That is until Claudia is called to a crime scene that’s the exact replica of the drawing she received. Two weeks later another drawing arrives. And another crime scene is revealed. Can Claudia catch the killer before he strikes again? Perfect for fans of Helen H. Durrant, Rachel Abbott, Biba Pearce, Angela Marsons and L.J. Ross. READERS CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF REBECCA BRADLEY: “An original take on the classic police procedural, I found it pacy, dark and compelling, and was hooked from the first page to the last.” Jane Isaac, bestselling author of The Truth Will Out “Tense, gripping and intriguing, with several twists that caught me completely by surprise.” Emma Haughton, author of The Dark “Tense, tightly written and I couldn’t put it down until I was done. A definite 5 stars.” Angela Marsons, author of Twisted Lies “Honestly one of the most gripping — and thoroughly disturbing — things I’ve read in a while. It’s like watching a mind slowly unravel. Highly recommended.” Cass Green, author of The Killer Inside “Terrifyingly authentic.” A Chapter in my Life “Slick, absolutely fascinating.” Damppebbles “Compelling, dark and absolutely a page-turner.” Crime Book Junkie “A clever and emotional read from an author who deserves to be more well known.” Steph’s Book Blog “Rebecca Bradley has the knack of drawing you into a book and then you find it hard to put down.” Graham R. “Thoroughly enjoyed this book . . .
