Death at Paradise Park

Death at Paradise Park by Ross Greenwood- crime thriller

A man is found dead in his truck behind a fish and chip shop. Not only has he been murdered but he is the husband of a former notorious criminal who only got out of prison a few weeks ago for dangerous driving that killed a member of the police service. When a body is found at Paradise holiday park which has a link to the first death, DS Ashley Knight and her team have their hands full as everyone around appears to have motive for telling lies one way or another and they are a colourful lot to say the least. Who is doing this and why are the residents of Diamond being targeted?

The characters make this book come alive and I couldn't help but like Ashley and her team- there's a wonderful camaraderie and appropriate humour interspersed. This is the second in the DS Knight series but happily stands alone (the first- Death on Cromer Beach was 5* from me) .This is a wonderful read and one I thoroughly enjoyed- I'm smiling while writing this. Yes it's a crime book but there is real life in there too, a little humour to soften the tone occasionally and even a little potential romance. Ross has a skill of writing that truly brings the characters and scenarios to life to put the reader into the heart of things. A wonderfully entertaining read with a cracking plot, one I thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait for the next one!
