The Garden Centre Murder by Peter Boland
Another fabulous addition to the “ Charity Shop Detective Agency” series, one with a wonderful cover! A man has been found dead amongst the screening plants at a local popular garden centre. He was well known as not only did he go there every week, he had a following of his exercise routines. When a month has gone by and the police haven't found the culprit, the ladies of the CSDA decide they should help, in their own inimitable way.
If you've not come across this series before, I more than highly recommend it. It’s lots of smiles in a book. The characters are wonderful, a fabulous plot that keeps the pages turning and that special something that only the skill of Peter can achieve. A lighthearted, cozy style crime read that lets the imagination run riot- a little like the ladies themselves who live life to the full by helping others. A fabulous read 10* if I could. Need I say more?
