The Sisters Twin- Jane Adams- Crime/mystery

A brilliantly entertaining read! The police are rather reluctant and sceptical

when a woman walks into the station to report a murder that hasnt yet

taken place but has been “ seen” on tarot cards. “Curmudgeonly sleuth Ray

Flowers'' who is an ex-police detective takes on the case. When an intruder

is found in her bedroom the police are more inclined to take things a little

more seriously. When more elderly people are targeted things really need to

speed up. What is the connection with the cards and between each of

the victims and targets? I really enjoyed this , it’s a very different crime

read and despite the subject matter this is a very entertaining light

hearted read. It's one in a series but happily stands alone (I hadn't read

the previous ones in the series) I liked Ray and Alice who came across

very well. There’s a little backstory around Fly (loved her name and

suited her perfectly) and nothing to put you off your dinner or wonder

what the creak on the stairs maybe!( at least not for me).

A cleverly thought out, crafted plot giving an engaging, beguiling

and fun read. Wonderful- loved it (and look forward to more in

the series)
