The Six Guests- Diana Wilksinson- psychological thriller

Six friends who met at a wedding have been meeting up on Zoom through

lockdown for a Friday night quiz. Each has their own lives and secrets.

They take it in turns to be quiz masters and one evening they are given a

set of questions about each other to be researched and completed by the

next session by Barton. The questions are rather personal and pertinent

and may uncover more than just quiz answers. When  Barton is killed the

others wonder if things have perhaps gone a little too far with secrets

and lies. We get most of the perspective from Kristi who unwittingly

and unwillingly is a core for the other members as she has their ear.

No-one really knows each other well although Kristi did have a couple

of dates with Barton shortly after the wedding.  She sets out to find

out more about her quiz friends and discovers more than she ever

imagined. A book to keep the grey matter very active as you try to

work out who and why. A very clever and interesting concept that

made me smile even now looking back at lockdown and the periods

in between. A page turner and one to remember 2020 by.
