The Guilty Daughter by Roger Silverwood- crime

Marie Strawbridge has a new occupation- thief. To help fund her fathers care as

he is in a home,  she is embarking on a series of new jobs with one thing in mind

- to stash as much cash as she can get hold of using various personas. When one

of her victims catches up with her with a proposition things aren't quite as she

expected. When she meets David Harlan her world changes slightly but will

she give up her quest for love instead?

I loved this from the beginning- there was a fun aspect to it- a lighthearted

almost cozy crime type read. You can’t help but like Marie and her antics.

“ Chance favours the prepared mind” (Louis Pasteur) very much applies in

this case. Five personas, five different chances and a man with one thing

in mind. A wonderful, highly enjoyable, very different read.
