Ruin Her Life

Ruin her Life by NJ Moss- psychological thriller

OMG! Another sit on the edge of your seat and don’t let go read from  Nathan. Abbie has gone into her daughter's school to complain to one of Becky’s teachers about something she allegedly said. She’s hoping Becky is lying, but what transpires is beyond her wildest dreams, make that nightmares. The teacher records the conversation as she wanted to make sure that Abbie didn't twist her words which she had a suspicion about. Sophia, the teacher, has aspirations beyond the classroom and this could just be the platform she has been waiting for. Be careful what you wish for. Online isn’t always the safe place many believe and can indeed be a dangerous place. Can Abbie get things sorted before it's too late and several lives are ruined?

Wowsers! Nathan has that special skill of getting the reader comfortable for a very short while and then pinning them down, real life be damned! (I read this in a day- I had no choice but to find out what happened! )A story of “From little acorns…” and ripples and how words can do so much unintended damage in the hands of those who chose to twist them and “ be famous” and find a supposed fortune. Chapters are given character names to give different perspectives and I found myself unsure as to which if any characters I liked or not- I chopped and changed seeing contrasting angles as the book progressed. There’s a myriad of suspects and occasional chapters give a murderer’s point of view, the reader not knowing either who this is or indeed who is the victim. Clever, chilling, brilliantly thought out and possibly not so far from reality. Five big ones *****
