Evil Crimes- Michael Hambling- 4*
Two apparent suicides- a man fallen over a cliff from a possible slippery path and a woman who hanged herself. The only possible klink being “H”- a young woman with red curly hair who was seen near both victims a short time beforehand. Sophie, Rae and Barry do their best to find and link the missing pieces of the puzzle. This is a well written book that sits comfortably (in the reading stance) from the start. Characters that come alive and you take to (or not in some cases!) with enough background to give their persona depth and an understanding of their actions and viewpoints. An easy enjoyable read.
