The Best Boomerville Hotel-Caroline James
The Boomerville hotel, formerly Kirkton House, provides a getaway for guests
of a certain age as well as company as they are all singletons for one reason or
another. There are courses and activities from pottery to mediation and exercise
of varying types. Some, however have exercise of a different variety in mind and
pursue this to achieve their ulterior motive- which isn’t love. A groups of 50+’s
who can afford a little luxury can attract the wrong sort of attention. Kate falls for
the charms of Andy having both recently suffered losses. James takes the writing
course and is having family issues. Two of the much older men have been coming
to the hotel for decades and are enjoying its new lease of life.   The shamen
appears when least expected and makes his predictions. Some find him wonderfully
relaxing , others a little scary. A group of larger than life characters coming together
makes for a highly entertaining read. My favourite quote has to be
“ Do you enjoy exercise?” “ My favourite is a cross between a lunge and a crunch-
I call it lunch” !! A book to pick you up, a book to smile at.
A real fun read.

The Best Boomerville Hotel Let the shenanigans begin at the Best Boomerville Hotel … Jo Docherty and Hattie Contaldo have a vision – a holiday retreat in the heart of the Lake
District exclusively for guests of ‘a certain age’ wishing to stimulate both mind and body
with new creative experiences. One hotel refurbishment later and the Best Boomerville
Hotel is open for business!  Perhaps not surprisingly Boomerville attracts more than its fair share of eccentric clientele:
there’s fun-loving Sir Henry Mulberry and his brother Hugo; Lucinda Brown, an
impoverished artist with more ego than talent; Andy Mack, a charming Porsche-driving
James Bond lookalike, as well as Kate Simmons, a woman who made her fortune from
an internet dating agency but still hasn’t found ‘the One’ herself.  With such an array of colourful individuals there’s bound to be laughs aplenty, but could
there be tears and heartbreak too and will the residents get more than they bargained
for at Boomerville? Purchase Links Amazon: http://mybook.to/TBBH Kobo: https://goo.gl/VRh2XT Ibooks/Google: https://goo.gl/2aq7sz Itunes: https://apple.co/2lZrl6F
