The House Guest by [Mark Edwards]

The House Guest- Mark Edwards -Psychological Thriller
“A perfect summer. A perfect stranger. A perfect nightmare.”
Adam and Ruth are staying at their friends house whilst Mona and Jack are on vacation.
Ruth is an actress and is getting her big break in broadway play. Adam is a playwright
who is still waiting. One day there is a knock and a friend of Mona  and Jack, Eden is on
the doorstep. She wanted to surprise them and finding they are away has nowhere else
to go. Adam and Ruth invite her in and she chats about Mona and Jack as if she knows
them quite well. The day before the couple are due back Adam, Ruth and Eden hit the
tequila. Adam wakes to find not only one hell of a mess but that the two women are
missing. On Jack and Mona’s arrival home they have neer heard of an Eden. Who the
hell is she and where is Ruth? OMG. Mark has done it again. A read that builds the
tension page after page and you want to speed through to find out what happens.
As somethings come together more questions are poised. A clever, very well
thought out plot (as ever) and one I really didn’t want to put down. One gripping
tantalising read.
