Ellie is a writer holding down a job to pay the bills awaiting her first book publication. Her abusive husband Kayden whom she is now seperated from has committed suicide and his mother informs her she is to blame- apparently words in his suicide note- and that she isn’t welcome at the funeral. She knows that when she was younger something happened that her memory had erased- a missing year or so.  At work she begins getting abusive calls and then abuse in the street- she thinks someone has seen the newspaper article on her as a local writer. Her book suddenly gets lots of scathing reviews. Someone is out to get her but who and why?

OMG!! A very dark, rather macabre tale with a twist that hit me for six (make that 6 million or so). Blimey, argh! I won’t give anything away but perhaps be prepared to be shocked. Not one to make me hide behind the sofa but one to very much gasp at. A cleverly thought out plot and pages that quickly turned and turned- the skill of a brilliant writer. One to remember for sure. Wow! I didn’t see that one coming!

NJ Moss worked as a fiction ghostwriter for ten years before he turned his skills to his own work. His latest novel, Her Final Victim, is a story about social media and obsession, stalking and murder, and the unspoken evils nestled within a seemingly perfect marriage.

When he is not working on his next thriller, you can normally find him walking his dogs (Loki and Gizmo, a Jack Russell terrier and a Chihuahua), rollerblading up and down the promenade of Weston-super-Mare, or spending time with his lovely wife.
