The People Next door- Keri Beevis-psychological thriller

Ellie and her boyfriend Ash have just moved into a new house. It was empty for

a while and unknown to them has rather a past history. The only near neighbours

are Benjamin and his quiet sister Virginia. Benjamin spends too much time either

alone or with his sister and for company befriends Ellie and worries about her

relationship with Ash as he has overheard arguments - something he heard

with disastrous consequences with the last residents of the house. Then Ellie

finds things moved as if someone has been in the house. They change the

locks but still there are suspicious goings on. Who is coming in and why? Is

Ellie safe or could history repeat itself?

OMG. A brilliantly, well thought out fast paced read. I found myself wanting

to turn faster and faster (if only my brain could keep up!) to find out what on

earth was going on. Not one to read in a lonely deserted house on your own!

A clever, rather eerie dark premise and one to keep you on your toes.
