The Flight

The Flight- Heather Fitt- psychological thriller

Sit down, take your seats and hang on for the flight of your life! Melissa is travelling with her young son to Barbados. In the queue to deposit luggage a rather haughty woman makes disparaging remarks to her about being a single mother. Melissa is a nurse so when on the flight a little later medical help is requested it appears Melissa is the best option. To her horror and amazement it is the woman from the queue. When other things start happening, Melissa and the crew think there may be a killer on board but who and why?

OMG!!!! A book I wanted to race through. There are lots of twists and turns and excellent, well developed characters. Heather begins the book with a very well researched prologue, which to me sets not only the theme of the book but the commitment and dedication of the author to accuracy. It's a cracking plot line and I took to both Melissa and Charley and yes, I wanted to throttle a certain someone even if they were a fictional character.  Well done Heather- I think we’ve all met at least one in our time! A brilliant read that kept me fast in my seat with a few spins for good measure! Stunning!

A young mother is trapped with a killer thirty thousand feet up, in this gripping mid-air murder mystery by the author of Open Your Eyes.

On a plane to Barbados, nurse Melissa sits with her young son, Theo. On the same flight, up in first class, are a bride- and groom-to-be, heading for their tropical wedding destination, accompanied by family and friends. When two members of the wedding party die in mysterious circumstances, it becomes clear that a killer is on board. Trapped in the cabin thousands of feet above the Atlantic, tensions mount as accusations fly—and when little Theo seems to vanish into thin air, this bizarre flight becomes even more turbulent . . . Will Melissa be able to use her medical knowledge to find her son and bring a cold-blooded killer to justice before it’s too late?
