We are back in time and Jimmy Bliss has just started as a detective having

served several years in uniform. He is keen but sensitive that he may be

there because of his father and he would rather have earnt it under his own

steam, something others are keen to point out to him when he doesn't quite

tow the line. John, Paul, George and Ringo are planning a heist, a carefully

planned operation to crack a safe. One of their number isn't just under

one alias he is under two- its Jimmy aka Vincent the safe cracker- his first

undercover operation. He is partly living a different life which has been

carefully planned to make sure there are no cracks in the cover but he is

understandably nervous and wants to bring in more than “The Beatles”

as there is talk of a higher man. A wonderful read and a lovely

insight into Jimmy’s beginnings and how his clever mind works

(which may also reflect on Tony!). I could read and read Bliss, he is

such a comfortable character, someone I would love to know for real!

My avuncular friend and definitely someone I would

want on my side. A truly brilliant read, loved it doesn’t cover it.

Author Bio:

Tony J Forder is the author of the bestselling DI Bliss crime thriller series.
