Christmas in Cockleberry Bay- Nichola May- Romantic comedy/womens fiction

We are back in Cockleberry bay and Rosie has literally been left holding the baby-

but she's happy about it- or is she? Her husband Josh has taken on some work

which will see him financially through the next few months for a short stay away

over the pond. Rosa is realising how much she misses him and that to have a

little help with little Ned (and hot dog) would be wonderful.  She finds

“Little Angels” nursery which helps but the shop and cafes are busy for halloween

and the lead up to Christmas. Her father has now reappeared on the scene and

has taken over the local undertakers so Rosa in three years has not only got

married and had  a baby but also got both of her parents in her life for the

first time in many many years. One of the crew’s PC girlfriend isn’t exactly

trustworthy and puts not only the Christmas grotto in potential danger but

the jobs of many in the hotel too. I love this series- its a charming and comfortable

read in front of the fire with a hot chocolate to give you that warm feeling both

inside and out. That the truth always outs and that there is good in the world

and things can make you smile when you are feeling low.

A highly recommended series.
