My sweet friend- H.A Leuschel-4*

We have all met them. That so called friend that knows which of your buttons to push
and somehow they come out smelling of sunshine and roses whilst you struggle to pick
yourself up. The one that can twist things without you even knowing, so smoothly and
cleverly that you never even saw it coming. The toxic friend that has you doubting your
own very being which you can’t see until long after you had removed them from your life
as it took such a struggle even though you know what you were doing was right.
This novella is told from different character viewpoints in alternating chapters by
Rosie and Alexa.  This is one of those stories that although is short packs a lot into
every page and even every word. The descriptions are vivid and leave you in no doubt
as to the scenario. This is almost a psychological thriller within a novella. A very well written,
interesting piece.
